just curious to you RDX owners.... any turbo lag? other than a turbo pause mentioned by someont on this forum... Is it pretty linear? Like a V6? You read stuff in the magazine and would like to know from an owner's standpoint.

Of course there is some type of lag. I used to have a Subaru WRX, and the lag on that was unbelievable. You would have to go well over 3000 rpm for the turbo to show any signs of life. The RDX comparatively speaking is very linear. When you are starting from a complete stop, it does kind of jump on you a little bit, which does take a little getting used to especially when you are making a slow turn at a traffic light or something.

Overall, if this turbo is going to get me better gas mileage than the V6 sitting in my Infiniti FX, I think the difference is extremely minimal that I would say it's definitely worth it.

Yeah... My brother has a WRX and it definitely sucks on the low rpm band before the turbo completely spools up.

I haven't noticed much of a lag. It has pretty good power initially but you can really tell a when the turbo reaches optimum boost pressure.
