RDX Modications...What are some good ideas?
Hello Everyone!
I havent started yet on making my RDX a little more unique than others around town. I have a 07' Nighthawk Black, and I was wondering on what would be some good ideas to changing it.
Sadly I like the stock rims after seeing so many others. Body kit would be nice, and was thinking about painting the silver lining around the ram-air white instead of the grey and silver.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I think the RDX looks pretty good with the OEM front lip kit. I would recommend the rear diffuser; but, your car is nighthawk black and you won't notice it’s there. You can’t go wrong with window tint.
My top list for my 08 RDX was:
- 35% front window tint
- 3M Clear bra for front end, side mirrors, and headlights
- OEM front lip kit
- Hondata reflash
- K/N drop in filter
- RonJon Liquid Graphite 18 inch rims
- Eibach Lowering Springs
- Removed front license plate holder (only need rear plates in NM)
- OEM splash guards
- OEM roof rack with cross bars
- OEM All weather mat
- OEM trunk mat
- OEM cargo net
- OEM side molding
- OEM rear diffuser
- OEM leather shift knob
- OEM sun roof visor
- Racing Pedals for gas, brake, and dead pedal from Ultimatepedals.com
- Conti DWS tires
The only thing I would like to do is upgrade the brake rotors to something drilled and/or slotted.

I went with Ultimate Pedals about a year ago. http://www.ultimatepedals.com/
I went with the Shiny (Brushed) Anti-slip with Flat Grip Inserts for the gas, brake, and dead pedal. The only problems I've had were:
- The flat grips inserts occasionally get knocked out by my shoe and I just super glued them back as they fall out.
- The anti-slip surface really collects the dirt. A soft bush and hot soapy water gets them back to new again.
Gas-screwed the new pedal right on top of existing rubber pedal
Brake - removed rubber cover on brake and used the existing holes to secure with 2 nuts/bolts.
Dead Pedal - Screwed the new pedal right on top of existing rubber pedal. I tried to screw the new pedal directly into RDX but the cheap screws were too weak to and I broke a few in the drill holes. It actually looks and works better sitting on top of the existing dead pedal (Easier to clean also since it pops right out).
Emergency Brake - They did not have a replacement pedal at the time I ordered last year.

Well if I were to answer the op: a good idea, given money is no object, I'd do a tranny swap (I've done it before, and it suxs.) Since money doesn't grow on trees for me, I'd suggest you'd start with a intake upgrade first. Most, 98% of people start here, and move elsewhere to correct in-efficencies in the power plant.
A good rule of thumb is: if it ain't broke... fix it till it is broken.

Hi guys, im a new RDX owner
1. Whats the Hondata reflash ?
2. Im in canada, where can I get the OEM front lip and OEM winter Mats for a decent price?
I'm thinking 1.5", no car wash fears.
