RDX loaners - next week
Dropped off my TSX for some warranty work last night... was talking with the service rep and he said they were getting a fleet of RDX loaner cars next week! Guess I scheduled my service a week too early

When I ordered my TSX back in the summer of '03, we were going over their allocated cars with the salesman looking for a suitable color/transmission combinations, and there were 4 cars on the list that he said were claimed by the service dept for loaners, and we couldn't have any of those. And at the time, we had to wait about 5 weeks for ours to come in (after the loaner cars had arrived).

When I was trying to find the RDX in the color I wanted over the weekend, the salesman told me the loaner they got matched what I wanted but they couldn't sell it to me.

FYI,
When my wife and I were looking for a new '05 Odyssey(RES+NAVI) back in late 04, we found the right combo at a dealer in Oklahoma, but on the window sticker it was designated as "DEMO" where the MSRP should have been. When I asked the salesman about it he told me that they were required to keep it on their lot for a certain number of miles and/or months so that they would have a demonstrator for customers interested in those features. I think he said after about 6 months/6000 miles or something like that they could sell it as a discounted "demo" model. He said Honda corporate prevented them from releasing the vehicle for sale prior to that.
