RDX in dealers July 27?
THIS IS ORIGINALLY FROM:
http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/showt...&highlight=rdx
The 2007 MDX, it's now confirmed
According to Tony Oborny, district rep from the Acura division of American Honda, the 2007 MDX is scheduled to appear at the New York Auto Show on April 12.
This will be a semi-concept vehicle, meaning that the rims may not be production issue, but for all intents and purposes this is the vehicle that will be available in Acura showrooms in October or November of this year.
So, there you have it.......the press is wrong
Oh, and also, the RDX is scheduled to hit dealer showrooms on July 27th. It was originally slated for late April, but was delayed due to government crash testing.

If it's in dealers in July then it should be in car mags by the June, right?

They are still saying first allotments in June. Don't have good confidence in that either. Personally in a bind with their timing since I have a deposit down and no car starting June 1 (lease-end).

I have heard nothing official regarding release dates for the RDX. I do know that we haven't ordered any yet, and MOVE (ordering system) is usually about 3 months in advance. The last order we placed was for cars scheduled to arrive in June.

Colin, is this similar to the ordering when the MDX first came out? That is, did the dealer place an order for MDX's about 3 months before they actually arrived?

MDX was a while ago, but yes, the standard lead time is three months.
