I highly recommend having the oil changed at a shop with the top down oil change machines (where they remove engine oil from the oil cap and not actually drain from bottom gasket). Reason being opening and removing oil gaskets can cause eventual wear to the teeths. This with a bad pothole can cause a spill and eventually cease your engine.[/QUOTE]

Really? Wear and tear will occur eventually as you own the car in the long run. I don't see removing the oil this way will drain all of the oil out of the engine. I'd prefer to use gravity if possible to do the job. They made the drain hole at the bottom of the oil pan for a purpose so might as well use it. Potholes will cause damages in many other ways. Running through a pothole will cause suspension damage as well as tire damage not just might cause a spill.

ok I just decided to change mine at 20%, I also went with the oem A01 filter with Mobil 1 5W30 synthetic, the car was previously running the A02 oem filter with mobil 1 5W30 Extended performance due to that being the only option available at the time.

Based on other reviews I wont be using the Mobil 1 oil filter.

and also the oil was pitch black at 20% but the computer was most likely around 17-18%.

In addition to all of this I put a new oem air filter in it and ditched the K&N so I hope everything will be cleaner and last more than 3500 miles. If I can get 500 more miles out of the oil ill be satisfied.
