Passenger leg room???

Has anyone had any problems with passengers complaining of lack of front leg room? My fiance has this problem. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the seat back any farther than the way it is set from the factory?

My wife is 5'9" tall and has no problem with leg room, even on 6 hour trips.

How tall are your passengers? I'm 6'3 and all legs and with the seat back even half way I have more than enough room....

my friend who is 6'4 rides in the passenger side all the time, no problem

Passenger Leg Room ?

My experience, went for a test drive, got in the passenger seat to leave dlr and my knees (I'm 6'2") were right up against dash, very uncomfortable, but the driver seat was very comfortable, Can't believe there would be a difference between pass and drive leg room?? btw, tried to set the pass seat back but it wouldn't budge. My wife is only 5'4" getting the car for her, love the way it drove and I will be driving it when we go anyplace. Coming this week, using a purchasing consultant I've used for other purchases, cost $150 but dealer deli vers car to door and NO hassles and firm price, HATE the buying experience at dealerships.

I have had friends in the car that are 6'4" and they are ok, but my fiance is 5'11" but built like a big football player and his knees are in the dash on the front passenger side. I know it is strange and I can't figure it out. He is ok on the drivers side but has a long commute during the week so I drive on the weekends. If I ever have to break harder than normal he is banging his knees. I feel horrible because I don't remember this being a problem on the test drive and it is to the point where he doesn't want to drive in my car!

There is a little lever under the passenger seat. Lift it up and scoot the seat back for increased leg room.

Hate to sound brain dead but the lever your speaking about is not the basic lever, the big one for adjusting forward and back, is there another lever in addition the the large one???
Thanks Love this board

No Problemo, just got the RDX c/ Tech, first thing I checked was passenger seat leg room, slid way back, plenty of legroom, I'm 6'2" 33inseam. When I test drove it there must have been something blocking the seat rails cause as I say there is plenty of room.

I find that while the driver's seat is fine, I do feel a bit cramped in the passenger seat. The leg area is LONG enough, but for me, it feels a bit narrow - so I feel like I don't have enough legroom.

Could there be a stopper in the passenger seat rails used for shipping that the dealer forgot to remove during PDI?

:what: Your fiance must have very very long legs.

If the RDX has about the same front legroom as the 1st gen MDX 01-06, that is more than enough room for me!
