P0842 Pressure Sensor Replacement?

P0842 Pressure Sensor Replacement?
I received a “P0842 check transmission” message on my navigation screen today. The CEL also came on. The transmission error went away when I restarted the car, but the CEL is still on. Had the CEL code read and it was the same P0842 code displayed on the screen. I went to Acura and they told me that P0842 is for a bad “transmission fluid 2nd pressure sensor,” so I purchased a new sensor for $75. I can’t seem to find instructions on how to install this part. Could someone please explain the replacement process or point me to a TSB or DIY? I don’t even know where to find the old sensor in the engine compartment.

The part number for the sensor from the dealership is 28600-rke-004. OEM Acura Parts says this part number will not fit my vehicle, as it is only for the 2007/2008 TL. Not sure what’s going on here.

It's under the air box and my advise don't over torque it if it takes minimal force to remove it use mininal force to tighten it. If that brakes in the trans a nice repair bill will be coming your way from Acura

Update since my original post:
I attempted to replace the 2nd Clutch Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch (part no. 28600-RKE-004) on my own and ran into a few issues. The first issue was that I was uncertain about the location of the switch and didn't want to replace the wrong one since there are three in total. After looking at the official RDX service manual I can confidently say that the 2nd pressure switch is on the back of the transmission on the passenger's side, NOT under the air box. I did see the switch when I had everything disassembled but there was not enough space for a torque wrench. Has anyone successfully replaced the 2nd pressure switch on their RDX? If so, what components did you remove to gain access?

It appears you can get to it from above. Remove the air cleaner stuff, and remove the air bypass pipe and it should be just on the backside of the transmission. Photo included. Torque measurement is technically 14 lb ft, but it doesn't have to be exact. Just tighten it until it's snug as there's an o-ring behind it so you dont want to tear it.

Burning Brakes
The pressure switches on the TL are so easy to get to. I would like to replace the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pressure switches, but the 2nd pressure switch looks like a pain! I'd if someone had a DIY for this one specifically.
