Recently my boyfriend and I tested out our 2007 RDXs towing capability. Max towing is listed at 1500, I researched for a couple days before hand about if that meant complete weight including trailer or if that's the max trailer weight. We got a 5x9 trailer 1200lbs empty, we towed it a little over 2 hours (empty) and the car was amazing! When we filled it up it was well over 2000lbs and 2 hours back through traffic and tolls it picked up and braked easily.

Just for added information the car has a little over 110k miles on it. The car was also fully loaded inside with probably 500lbs of stuff not including us.

We still aren't sure if the 1500 is total weight or max trailer weight but it did what we needed effortlessly. Empty before our trip

Most I've done was just a bike rack on my hitch. Good to see someone getting to use the "U" in CUV.

Good to see someone hauling with it. Gonna try a pop-up and a jet ski trailer soon to see how it goes.
