Oil Life Question for Weekend

I have an '08 RDX (15K mls) and just hit my 15% oil life service notification. Can't make a maintenance appt. until early next week because I have a trip from Boston to NY to make this weekend (about 450-500 mls or so total round trip).

Should I be alright with 15% left for my trip? I called my dealer's service dept. and they said yes, but wasn't sure if they werre just shrugging me off. Would like some confirmation from folks here.

Thanks!

You will be fine...but I'd get it done when you get back.

ps...just check your oil level before you leave on the trip to make sure it is in acceptable range.

Oil Weekend

Obviously too late for your trip. But you're fine. On a related note my dealer offered me a lifetime oil/filter/tire rotation/basic check-up for the life of my RDX ownership for $199.00. That's synthetic oil. Four oil changes (I already had my first under the $199.00 plan) and it pays for itself. Pretty good deal. By the way--from another thread--I received my Acura coffee mugs from corporate Acura a couple weeks ago, about 7 months after the purchase. Nice touch.
