Just picked up my new 2010 AWD no tech in Polished Metal Metallic yesterday and couldn't be happier (got a great deal). Been driving honda/acura for the past 15 years or so (95 accord -> 2000 TL -> 2005 Pilot - 2010 RDX).

After reading much about harsh rides and loud engine noise, I was a little bit concerned. But after a 200 mile drive in 2 days, I realize that all that worrying was for nothing. IMHO, the ride is not harsh at all. And the engine noise is what I'm used to so no problems there either. I guess I'm just used to driving honda cars

Love the bluetooth handsfree. Connected my IPhone and was ready to go immediately. In addition, the USB connection to my IPhone woks great also (although I don't have many songs on it which will change soon)

Also just ordered some LEDs to replace the interior bulbs. Can't wait to get those and put them on.

The only thing that bugs me is the wasted space is the screen in the center console. Since I didn't get the tech package, the display is just plain black and white and it just seems like a big area with little information.

Now, I'm reading all the threads as I can to learn about the car. Lots of information already from you guys that's much appreciated

Congrats on your new RDX! I too have the base model. The screen does get filled up with info when you have the audio on and HVAC on. I just wish it wasn't black and white. Blue would have been nice to match the other lighting schemes in the car. I couldn't justify the GPS option and slight audio upgrade for like an additional $3000+

Yes, I feel the Nav is a great nice to have. But I have my tomtom on my iPhone that travels with me wherever I go so the tech package was a bit redundant for me.

Welcome! I'm in the same boat and very satisfied... got the FWD though; experienced my first torque steer and tire screech... good stuff. If u don't mind me asking, what was the previous vehicle?
