Navigation Questions

My RDX is a 2007 with 19k and I have notice as the year and half of ownership has gone by that my Navigation system has added small dots to the subdivision in which I live. When I request present position of the car while in the subdivision it cant give an address of the location. The system states that is not a digitized street and the system will show the main road leading to the subdivision however once I turn into the subdivision no streets are listed or shown. Is this normal function or do I need to get an updated Nav disc for my car?

Yes you need to get an updated disc which will probably not have the very latest. But the dots are a selection in the settings. I forget what it’s called but the Nav lays down dots where you have been that are not on roads. It has the streets in my subdivision but not the names. Not worth buying a new disc though. IMO

How much are the new nav disks anywaz? The RDX that I bought was from the states and I live in Canada. Is it possible to put a Canadian version in?

Those dots are called "bread crumbs". They show you have been there before as you say in an undigitized area. You should see how many dots my RL has in the Wal*Mart parking lot. I need to get a life. You can turn the feature off in the menu. They are very helpful if you go off-roading to find your way home.
