Mobil's new 0w30.
Ok so I saw this stuff when I was crusing the automotive section at Wally World last night and got to thinking...would this be usable in the RDX? I know the only benefit to it is in colder driving conditions, but here in CO, the mornings in the winter can get awfully brisk. The first morning start is not a concern since it sits in a heated garage, but after sitting in my wife's bank parking lot all day it might come in useful during that start-up. Just looking for thoughts and suggestions really. It doesn't cost any extra cash...in-fact it's even a buck or 2 less for a 5-qt jug. Sound-off oil guru's. Watcha think?

Increasing the spread between cold and hot (operating temp) viscosity, tends to shorten the service life of the oil, because the polymer modifiers have a wider range to cover and lose functionality sooner.
The oil life monitor calculations are based on the service life of 5W-30 (HTO-O6 specific). The use of 0W-30 would void the warranty.
