Hi all,

I’m a new owner of an ’08 RDX w/ Tech – really loving it so far! We traded in our ’04 TSX, which was a great car, but we needed something a little bigger.

So here’s my dilemma. I’m looking into getting a luggage box to carry some extra gear, but I only have about 12” of clearance getting into the garage so I’m looking into a low-profile box (http://www.rv-inno.com/html_pages/cargobox_lowdown.htm). However, when you get into the low-profile boxes the length increases and the factory antenna on the roof becomes an issue with regards to mounting the box.

Has anyone found a shorter antenna that can replace the existing factory antenna? I don’t want to take it off completely as we then lose radio reception.
