My 07 has had a loose rattling sound somewhere in the back for a while. It's loudest if I rock the car side to side by steering hard back and forth. It's also noticeable if I'm driving over a rougher road but it doesn't make a sound when I drive over a large speed bump - it's almost as though the sound only happens with the left and right wheels are moving independently. Twice now, I have pulled out the spare and the jack and the compartment cover and it doesn't make a difference.
Any thoughts on what this might be? Maybe sway bars?

I'm gonna bet it's heat shield C above your cat back. There's 4 bolts that hold the aluminum heat shield and the aluminum around the bolts rat away leaving the shield just rattling. Check out your catback too, could also be the hanger held in the rubber bushing.
