Loose drivers seat 2010 rex

Anyone else having a problem with the drivers seat? I have had the seat worked on 3 times by the dealer in the last 6 months. When accelerating and braking the seat moves. The dealer says they have removed and replaced the entire lower portion of the seat and it seems to stay solid for about a month then it's loose again. The dealer (Acura of the Desert) has been great but this is really annoying. Almost to the point of wanting to sell the RDX (which i love). Anyone have any suggestions?

I bought a used 09' RDX in Dec. and it came with this same problem. I'm finally taking mine in to get it checked out tomorrow. My last RDX (08", brand new off the lot) started having this problem as well a couple of months after purchasing. At the time the dealer told me that he would have to replace the entire seat for it to be fixed. I am hoping that something can be done by now. You figure the company would have done something about this by now.

customer relations made a note of it to see if its a big enough problem to where they issue a recall and they told me to keep my reciepts just in case they do so. In other words we dont consider the driver seat rocking back and forth to be a safety issue and the repair is on your dime. Thats what I gather from it.

Well after another trip to the dealer they finally agreed to replace the entire lower part of the seat under the warranty. The mechanic (who used to be a service writer, and i'm friendly with) told me that what they found was a worn out bushing on the front left portion of the track system. That certainly explained the rocking motion that i was feeling as the seat would seem to move forward and left when hitting the brakes. He said that they couldn't replace just the bushing as the piece was all part of the track assembly. I researched the part numbers that they had on my copy of the invoice and found them on the web to be about $600-$700. It took an entire day for them to do and so far the seat is rock solid.
All the managers at the dealership drove the car before and after and all confirmed that it was a real problem and that i wasn't nuts.
Hope this helps anyone else out there with this problem.

I've noticed mine is doing this also. May just take it in this week, still under warranty.

Dammit OP, I just took a quick glance at the thread title. I thought it said, "Loose seat sex." Sucked in to another worthless thread by my dirty mind again.

Search before you start a new thread, there are already a couple of threads about this issue here on AZ!
