Lancer or Accord
Hello Acurazine members,
I own a 2008 Acura RDX tech package with around 89000 kms. I am going to be selling my car as where I live the gas price are becoming ridiculous and I am starting to do a lot of everyday driving. I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada, so my city is a rainy city and we do get snow here, most of the time. Our gas prices for 94 octane which is the only octane i put into the car from Chevron varies from $1.40-$1.70 per litre and with summer here and the price of fuel only going up, I can see it becoming closer to $2.00. I love the car I have and I wish I could keep it but with the way gas prices are now and the amount of driving I have to do, this vehicle is not practical enough for me.
With that in mind, this is why I am looking to sell the CUV and looking to purchase a Lancer AWC because it is available or a Accord sedan EX or EX-L.
If the members can give me their input/comments/opinions/if they owned past lancers/accords or if they currently own a second vehicle being a lancer/accord that would be great.
Thanks
Fijiboi

Buy the Honda accord exl the lancer is slower then a corolla unless you buy the turbo one. You will hate the drive of the lancer. I like the evo but other then the other models they all suck. What year would you get the Honda accord.

I am from Vancouver as well. in Halifax for school and honestly AWD is more necessary out here and a waste of time in Vancouver. as I tested it alot this past winter. an RDX is a pig especially in Vancouver where there are the highest gas prices on average in all of Canada. I have been considering the new accord 4 dr sport 6spd or the new Mazda 6. I detail cars at Mazda for the summer and the interior quality is a little better in the accord compared to the ^ but both drive really well and are actually pretty fun and good on gas. I would also not consider a Mitsubishi because well I find them low quality.
