k&n filters or no?
I have heard differing opinions about k&n filters. Some say don't use them and others say they are the best. Can anyone put my mind at ease?

Ok so. Basically KN filters are pretty good over the stock filter. I have personally had no issues with them. But the problem is when people go to clean them with the filter kit and don't do it properly and don't even let it dry. The shit that's coated on the filter gets sucked into the engine. Which you don't want.

So what would be the advantage to using one?Just the fact that they are reusable?

But with the cone filter (K&N or CPE), you get the woosh woosh sound when you step on it. I think the cone filter is supposed to help torque at higher speeds. To be honest, I haven't noticed a difference either way. Nobody hate on me now for saying that. But I like the way it sounds, so it was worth my investment. Plus Wrench did an awesome job coating the pipe!

thanks for the responses
