i went to a local stereo shop and they tried if they could make it work but same result so they decided to try another product, Pac and it works on my ipad and HD tuner..I love the HD radio, it's clear and the signal is better compare to XM but i did notice when driving home that my display screen was flickering once in a while, i dont know if that's a signal issue but i will send it back to the shop ....

Just a lil update on HD radio, i would not recomend getting it coz the problem with hd radio is the broadcast keeps on coming in and out switching between non HD and HD signal of the same radio station. it's very annoying coz there will be a 1 to 2 secs to lock a hd signal. it's like both stream are not exactly synchronized so I hear about 1 second worth of repeat.

HD radio was a better alternative to XM because it's free. however, not all areas have good hd signal,
