How to mount cell holder on dash here
I have a cell phone mount that I would like to attach, at the location show in the photo below.
1. Can I safely mount it there? (Is it empty space behind this panel)
2. How would I gain access to place nuts and a cable behind this location? Does the top of the dash (pad) lift up? Any DIY guides on how to access this area?

I decided to install my cell phone mount on the left side, but on the small popup dash panel as originally planned.
In case anyone is looking for inspiration, here's a photo of the installation. Note that mount is wireless charging, with the 12v cabled running through dash to cigarette lighter power (on with Acc/Run)
