front silver grill spotting??

has anyone found that the front silver grill surround forms some spotting on it that will not clean off? My RDX is 2 years old now, and I tried everything the other day to remove the spotting, and nothing seemed to work.
Any ideas?

If it's a defect take it to the delear and have them replace it. I had a 1994 Acura (my first Acura) in which the clear coat on the wheels began to peel. Brought it to the dealer and they replaced all four wheels N/C!

Try Back to Black trim detailer from Mothers - works great for this area.

05 mdx / 08 tl

I have the very same problem on my '05 MDX....and now it is starting on on '08 TL which is only 2 months old!! I am really perturbed by this and am going to take both cars in to the dealer. Nothing seems to get this stuff off.

You said you tried everything but I am not sure what everything is...
how about a claybar or some rubbing compound? A good coat of wax should help keep the blemishes like this from happening too.
