Few questions... before I go buy...
Hello, everyone.
any current owners from VA area recommend a sale person from surrounding va area? and how much you guys paid(total after taxes)? I have a trade-in that will get me around $6k. I'm trying to pay around $35k after everything? you think that could be done? I want to get this car hopefully this week... (before the promotional rate offer expires!)
any help will be awesome!

Are you looking for a Tech? What dealer do you plan to go to? I liked Radley until I had to buy a car from there. They were good on the price and fair on the trade. They horrible on the paper side though. I still haven't gotten my loan after a month and half. I guess it cool that they let me keep the car. They couldn't really grasp the needs of a person in the military. But that could have been my salesman. Overall I would have to give Radley a 6.5-7/10. I do like their service department. My experience at Gunn in San Antonio was much better.

Omar at Pohanka.
If you want to pay $35k after your $6k trade, you could do that with your eyes closed. With a trade like that you should be able to get a tech for $28-29k or $30-31 OTD.

i went to radley, and talked with sunny. he was a good man but i felt rushed and was not able to negotiate any price on the tech. he was like "here is to car..." then I went into the finance manager's booth to talk with him... and they kept pushing me to do a lease... but I wanted to buy the car.
I wanted to go to pohanka... but I really do not want to waste their time and my time going in. I will sit down and negotiate and talk... but I do not want to waste time. ya know?
I'm hearing good things about this Omar guy @ pohanka.
hey sasair, do you have his direct line? or email?
thanks..

You can do the entire deal with omar at pohanka through email if you want. Just tell him what deal you got and he will beat it if he can.

If you want to pay $35K after everything (i.e. out-the-door) for a Tech you should be able to do that. This seems to be a pretty common price being reported in the Northern Virginia area.
The trade-in is highly subjective though.

I wouldn't do it, even if I wanted blue. Get the new car, with the new car financing. It ain't that much more. Maybe you should call 'em, ask for Sean Jackson if you don't get Omar, he was very helpful when I was looking.
