Considering buying this!

Hi guys, not new to Acura's as I own a 2006 Acura TL, but I'm considering buying this for my mom and I just wanted to get some feedback from you guys before pulling the trigger.

Its a 2008 Acura RDX Tech package. (heated/leather seats, backup and navi etc.)

51k miles with one owner and a super clean carfax. Link to the carfax report and the ad for the car below. Asking price is $16,991

CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2008 ACURA RDX TECHNOLOGY: 5J8TB18538A018352

Used 2008 Acura RDX Tech Pkg 4WD 4dr For Sale in Vienna VA | Stock: T8A018352

Is there anything I need to be worried about with RDX's around the 50k miles ?

From what I've heard, no problems with the turbos and the motors got a timing chain. Those were my two biggest worries.

The carfax says rear differential, brake and power steering fluid has all been flushed/changed as well as the front and rear brake pads.

Looks good to me! Our 2008 RDX Tech has 125k miles, and the general reliability has been just okay. Can't name everything, but just a lot of little things have gone wrong, nothing to be concerned about except for the A/C, which is a problem on a lot of RDXs. Ours went at 118k, but Acura covered some of it under warranty even though we were past 100k miles.

You'll probably be fine with your RDX, in general the reliability is excellent. We have one of the first 300 08 RDXs, so maybe that's why we've had some trouble.

That's a great price, and likely you would be able to negotiate lower. In fact it's priced low enough that I'd be a little suspicious. Have you seen the actual vehicle, since that is a stock photo?

I'm not a fan of the creme interior, but if this car checks out A-OK, it could be a great deal.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I too was a bit suspicious about it being 16,991 but with dealer fees and taxes it goes back up to about 18,500. I was able to talk to down to about 17,800 out the door.

I'm not the biggest fan on the tan interior either but my moms okay with it so it's fine with me!
