Cleaning the RDX's Tinted Windows

Hello! Picked up my RDX last Saturday (white/taupe/non-tech) and loving it.

Just wondering what do current RDX owners use to clean the tinted windows. I know that amonia based solutions (i.e. Windex) are a no-no for tints. Your insights are greatly appreciated.

I have always used Stoners brand window cleaner and a micro-fiber towel on all tinted windows and any other glass, even around the house. It doesn't leave any residue like windex and cleans up everthing very well, especially the windshield. You can get it for $3-$4 a can at Target, Walmart Kragen...etc.

Ammonia based cleaners are a no-no on aftermarket tint film, but not on factory tinted glass.

Acura service depts have been advised to use a 1 part white vinegar to 10 parts water solution. Wipe on with cloth, wipe off excess with balled up newspaper.

use something alcohol based, or the vingear mixture mentioned above. I use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on electronics....but i think alcohols are good for anything. or acetone?!~

There's nothing wrong with using just about any cleaner, unless you have an aftermarket tint film. I personally choose to use Stoners, but whatever works for you.

Don't use acetone - it will dissolve many things you'd rather it not.
