Chevy Equinox

have any of you taken a look at the new truck....pretty impressive, i have to say. Its new, so who knows about the quality & reliability, but its a very good domestic alternative.

It looks good. But if you add desirable options, and AWD, the price tag soars. I hope Chevy can make it work, though.

I don't know about the latest rendition of the Equinox but my Dad had one as a loaner two or three years ago. I drove it out of curiousity and it felt like a complete POS! Seriously. It was sloppy in every imaginable way. I was afraid to take corners at 20-mph. LOL. Wouldn't hold my breath on the latest version being much better. Definitely NOT an RDX!

The new SRX looks the part - but it seems like it's a giant turd performance wise from the reviews I've read.

I used to love GM, had a 2006 Pontiac GTO before I got my RDX and I really liked that car (got the same mileage as the RDX as well!, that LS2 is a beautiful engine) but I will never buy a GM car again since they killed Pontiac while allowing crap like Buick and GMC to exist, and they've been taken over by the government. So no more GM for me until the government gets the hell out of there.
