Bug/Hood Delector

Why would you call it yuck? Do you like having your paint all chipped and like to repair paint chips during the weekends or you just dont drive your car on the highway. When you live in a big city and it takes half hour to commute to work obviously the car is subjected to flying debri which most likely screws up the car paint over a period of time. I am just trying to protect my investment and car.

3M chipguard on the hood, headlights, front bumper, rear hatch lip and mirrors FTW!
Basically, any front leading edge that gets FOD.
No more rock chips or scratches.
Swear by the stuff now.....had it for 2 years on my Subaru.
I use Plexus to clean it and keep it "clear". Also takes bug guts off like a champ.

Hood protection
Try the Invisible mask at www.invisiblemask.com The hood and mirrors along with the installation kit is $125.00. Additionally, you'll need two spray bottles: one with a soapy solution and the other an alcohol solution. Installation is fairly easy as long as you take your time. The results are very good. The sine is similar to the paint shine and it truely is invisible. Upon close inspection you can see the outline, but hey... close inspection will also show the rock chips on your hood. I purchase an extra bulk roll of the stuff and cut it to fit the front bumper and the rear bumper step. Bugs seam to clean of very easy so far.

I agree, get the clear paint shield. Well worth it, even for a lot more. Professional installation is worthwhile.
