Auto Dry Carwash Substitution?
I was thinking about this today (when looking at my salt-covered RDX), and wondering if someone smarter than me knows. I would like to try the Mr. Clean Autodry carwash kit, but the price of the filters is kind of ridiculous.
Does anyone know of an adequate substitution where the filters are cheaper and last longer?
Thanks!

I tried that on my last black RSX and thought it sucked (returned it), so I would recommend not purchasing it, nothing beats the old bucket and sponge hand wash!

i agree. I tried the auto dry system a few years ago. It leaves a residue on the car in exchange for the lack of spots. I went back to the old mitt and bucket as well.
For a spot free easy finish, remove the sprayer from your hose and trickle a stream of water on the car starting at the top and working your way down to the wheels. This will sheet the bulk of the water off the car leaving only a few drops to pick up with the soft cotton towel. Keep your wax nice and fresh and the process hardly needs the towel.

Diggin' the RDX!
FWIW: Costco sells a car wash kit that seems pretty good...it's a high-pressure attachment for your garden hose. It has 3 or 4 pieces, looks like a good product, sells for about $20. I bought one the other day and am looking forward to testing it out. It's called: BonAire Wash 'n Rinse Spray Gun. I use a quality chamois to dry my car with, works like a charm and lasts nearly forever. Just spray it out to clean it every so often.
