Anybody think better financing rates later this year?

Does anybody think the finance rates could get better this year than the current offer or is it as good as its going to get? Since I been reading people have been getting right at or near invoice prices. I really do not know how dealers could do any better price wise during closeout specials later this year. Does anybody know if Acura would dare offer a zero percent finance rate like GM and Ford have done?

Not zero % yet, but close. I just got an e-mail from a Washington Area dealer I'd been negotiating with last week that reads as follows:

"I just wanted to say to all my customers that starting thursday march 1st we are having special financing on the 2007 rdx's and acura tl's. The rate will be 1.9% for up to 36 months and 3.9% for up to 60 months(qualified buyers). The TL has not had a 60 month term of 3.9% in over 2 years so for any serious buyer that is a way to save money.I am here to set all appointments and answer any questions so please feel free to put me to work!"

Having just locked in a 2.9% 36 month loan on Saturday, this makes me a bit unhappy, but hopefully others can take advantage!

Are you in the Washington State area or are you talking about Washington DC area? I am looking to buy in the DC metro area and that sounds pretty good. Mind sharing who is offering that deal if it's in the Wash DC area?

I doubt they will go too far below current rates nationally. 3.9% for 60 mo. is pretty dang slick!

Sweet deal, I can't believe they're offering 1.9. I got 3 yrs at 2.9 (was 3.9 the month before for same term) which makes my interest about $700 total. I suppose to answer the original q, looks like yeah, the rates CAN get better.
