I want to snake an aux cable from the front of the radio down into the center console, to the storage bin under the armrest. There appears to be a panel right above the CD-player radio, and of course there is the silver trim piece running down the right side of the center console. If I can get either of those off, they would make a good path to run the cable.

If anyone has the shop manual, can you look to see how the silver trim piece is removed? Or, if somebody has removed the lower radio/CD-changer unit, you must have figured it out! I am looking for some guidance before I start pulling on trim pieces.
