I am reading the Acura Plus brochure and notice that it says it offers Roadside Assistance. But I thought we have 5 yrs free Roadside Assistance anyway with the original factory warranty. Am I correct ?

By the way, my dealer told me that Acura Canada does not have the specific extended warranty price for RDX yet, they were told to quote the existing MDX's price.

I also notice that the extended warranty does not cover Rear view camera, HFL, Nav, voice recognition system, steering wheel mounted controls, TPMS. Looks like they don't cover most of Tech package stuff ...........

In terms of engine, they don't cover oxygen sensor, exhaust gas reciruclation system and evaporative emission two-way valve. I am not familiar with these mechanical names at all. Are these related to the turbo engine ? If so, I am not sure if I want to buy the extended warranty as my concern is mainly about the turbo engine (even though they keep saying it is not the first honda turbo)

All of that stuff is standard emissions controls, not related to the turbo.

That's good to hear ! But for those who assume the extended warranty would cover the expensive Nav. have to think twice before buying it.

According to 07 Acura plus, it will cover Navi but another CAD300 on the extended warranty price --> $1,850 + 300 = CAD 2,150. Handfree link is not covered though
