2010 RDX Noise
I've had my 2010 RDX AWD for 2 weeks and since day one when I go from park to drive or park to reverse to drive I hear a "clunk" noise from underneath. It's always at about 5 mph and the loudest at the first drive of the day. The longer I drive the softer the noise is. When I brought it to the dealer, I had been driving for awhile and he didn't hear it. He said the MDX will make that noise but not the RDX. Anyone else have this with a new RDX?

I think I have the same thing on my new RDX too. I also had it on my Xterra which was just the normal "abs check" that made the "clunk" after I put it into drive and started on my way. I assume that's what is going on with the RDX but I dunno.

Here's an old post on a similar topic I found in the MDX forum:
The noise you are hearing is the ABS module pulsing the system. You will hear it every time you start to move from a start cycle.
It is normal and nothing is wrong. If you start your MDX then select drive let off the brake and just coast you will hear nothing at all until you press acellerator past 7 mph. There is speed sensors on all wheels that activate the module to turn on and test the system,if any one of the speed sensors fail(don't) send wheel speed to the ECU your ABS light will come on and disable the system. You will still have brakes to stop. The computer will disable the antilock system to safeguard you because it will not function corectly.
Honda has chosen this method to reasure that testing the ABS system with wheel speed is the safest way.Several different ABS systems will pulse the system with only KOEO cycle. This test only ensures that the pump is active (working). If there is a problem with the system,it will be to late in a emergency, the ABS light will come on while you Jam on the Brakes.
This is why I didn't get too worried about the noise because my Nissan did the same exact thing. However, it would be nice to get confirmation that this is indeed the case for the RDX too.
