my goal is 2 inches in the front and 1.8 in the rear i want the ride quailty to be just as good as stock or better. i know the ss-p are better but for my application needs does anyone think i need ss-p's or are ss nice and smooth?? becuase i dont want to spend a bunch of extra money on ss-p if the ss is good enough

Good shocks and springs will get you a closer ride to stock than coilovers. And the amount of drop you are trying to achieve will increase the harshness of ride in itself. I am running down 2/1.8 roughly with my setup and the ride is firm but not harsh. If you really want to lower it and get a good or "better than factory" ride look at Tein H-techs or something along those lines.

The extra money is just for convenience of mounts, cuz you don't have to take the stock upper mounts

well I like Tein SS just because theyve got adjustable shocks vs the Basics. . . SS-P helps out a bit im sure

he wants a 2" drop he doesnt need tein SS's..

AND if he buys from Heel-Toe they can pre-load them with replacement top mounts and ride height already set...

I got Basics on mine and they ride OK....But I do wish it had the feature of the SS where you can adjust the strut height. But I got my Tein Basics for $200 so I can't complain.....
