Lowering 3.0 WIth Eibach Pro-Kit???
HAS anyone had an issue with lowering a 3.0 with the Pro-Kit and the front end lowering about .5 inch? I called Eibach and they said that I need to cut 25 mm off the bottom of my bump stop, but here is the question:
If the bump stop was holding back my ride from going any lower then my car would ride like a truck, basically 100% bottoming out at all times. Does my question make sense? Please someone help me out or refer me to another thread taht might be of some help. THANKS in advance....
Also if anyone has lowered their 3.0 with the 2.2 Sportlines please contact me and let me know how they worked out. Thanks again...

Somebody on here is lowered on sportlines and I wouldn't suggest it. It'd be way too front-heavy. I'm lowered on prokits and I think it looks great. It doesn't look like a 4x4 anymore and I can still slap on my winter tires without having to worry.
I'm not quite sure I understand your question though.

Haven't heard good things about lowering a 3.0 on the sportlines cuz the engine is too heavy, I'd look into some neuspeed accord v6 springs

rode on pro-kit than changed to sportlines. In all I loved the drop(front is low) and the ride wasn't that bad.The only downside, if you want high speed performance/cornering DO NOT GET THEM. the car felt alittle floaty and slightly unstable at high speeds (80+ prob cuz of the extra weight). like black said another option is neuspeed..........

The pro-kit is SHIT. I have it, it's terrible. Take 'em off and get Neuspeeds. I have subbuzz's 3.0 with the Sportlines, and it's LOW, to the point where you have to run rubberbands. It's not really the best idea.
We really need to put in the n00b guide that the pro-kit does not lower the front end of the car.

I am looking into new springs I had the Neuspeed but the drop is to low on my 2.2 was good for about 1 year and half then everything starts squeeking due to the pressure on the bushing and everything else.
I am stock height at the moment and want minimal but noticeable difference in height. Like 1.7 is the most i will go. That's with the strut mount and bump stump in place.
I do not recommend removing the bump stump. Can anyone concur?
Oh i have been thinking on PRO-KIT or TIEN S TECH. ANyone? Peace
