Diamond racing wheels?

So I just recently got a 99 cl and I wanna lower it and I was thinking I really like widened steelies. So being a normal vw guy I wanted to go with a wider wheel and I thought diamond racing would look unique. I know I'll need some kind of camber kit, but my question is your opinion I have never seen a cl on them and I was thinking 16x8 in front and maybe 16x9 or 10 in the rear fender work won't be a problem I know a body guy. If anyone has pictures of their car or knows a car on widened steelies post a pic! Thanks

no one's really gone 16's and that wide. I think one guy had some xxr's that were like 16x9 and they werent too bad. its just really hard to make 16's look good because you literally need to ride like on the ground. im on 17x9.75+25 all around. and i still have to ride close to the earth to make it look right.

had to do some serious fender rolling. i had them flare them out as much as possible. they changed the whole angle of the fender by rollin it so hard
