Coilovers or coilover sleeves
So Im on the fence about coilovers or coilover sleeves. I can get a set of F&F's for around $600 but I can also get the Koni Yellows and GC cs for $450 and some change. Ive also heard that these can sometimes out-perform a coilover system with the right "tune". Is anybody one here running cs and if so how is the ride.

A good spring/shock setup will outperform a shitty full coilover setup, but a good full coilover setup could outperform them all (generally...). I don't have experience with those specific springs/shocks, but I had F&F type 2 coilovers on my CL and didn't really like the feel of them.

Personally I prefer full coilovers that have the pillow mounts and everything attached so it's a whole assembly to remove and install, also the springs and shocks are usually better matched for each other. But to each their own

i think the only time i'd spend close to $1000 for coils is if i tracked my car. Im just looking for a 3 inch drop. I did neuspeed race springs on my accord and it dropped it 2.5F/2R, but i feel the way the CL sit and the accord sits are completely different.
Here is the accord before I dropped it
and here it is after the springs were installed

If you don't care about performance and are just looking to get low then I'd say get some cheaper adjustable coilovers, that way you can fiddle with the height until you're happy with it. The F&F's should be good enough for that. I had D2's before them and they were awesome and would literally put the car on the ground and still have more threads to go lol, and they're pretty cheap as well.
