Alignment Specs

After putting on AGX struts and Pro-kit springs, I took my car into Firestone to get it aligned. I mentioned to them what I did and was worried whether the camber would be out of spec or not. Well, no need to worry as the camber was well within spec. I remember seeing a lot of posting on CL's with Pro-kit springs which needed camber kits--don't know why, as the camber specs are pretty wide on the CL. Here's the spec info (in degrees):

Front:
Camber -2.0 to 0.2
Caster -2.0 to 6.8
Toe -0.16 to 0

Rear:
Camber -1.7 to -1.0
Toe -.16 to .16

The only thing that was out of spec on my car was the toe, which they fixed. My front camber started out at -0.9 degrees. After the Pro-kit, my worst camber was on the front right (-1.5)--which is with a 1.5" drop, so I'm thinking that my CL could be dropped nearly 3" before having to worry about camber being out of spec. Does this sound right?

What year CL do you have? My '97 service manual says:

front
camber: .12 +/- 1 degree (-0.88 to 1.12)
caster: 3.3 +/- 1 degree (2.3 to 4.3)
toe: 0 +/- 2mm

rear
camber: -1.2 +/- 0.5 degree (-0.8 to -1.7)
toe (in): 2 +/- 2mm

those specs you put up look pretty extreme. i would double check with Acura if i were you...

Bump!

Are these alignment specs accurate posted by lemansteve? If someone can confirm that would be wonderful!

Thanks in advance!
