It sucks having a honda as a daily, because you'll probably mod that too. The EP3's are nice but don't look good until they're dumped. I'd probably go with the AV6 out of those choices.

Does anyone here have Tein SS or Basic's? I know they don't go very low, which is fine. But I'd like to know if they go low enough to tuck tread. I'm thinking I might send these back for D2's, Ksports's, F&F's etc...

I have Tein SS-P's, you can tuck pretty low on them, I haven't tried slamming that low, but I did have to raise them just to back out of my driveway, and the ride quality is so much better than D2/Ksports

in the HT slammed thread its rare to see someone dumped on Tein SS' or Basics. everyone is on either F2's, D2's, K-sports, or GC's/Koni Yellow's. some people are on Skunk2's but those are horrible.
yes hellaflush has awesome selection of slammed cars, just like stanceworks.com and canibeat.com. i know one of the creators for canibeat.com, hes from NJ.

My SS's will slam, not that far, but far enough, like I said I couldn't even make it out of my driveway with how palayah8ta had them set

I checked the first 50 or so pages of that thread as well as another one in the Suspension subforum where everyone listed their set ups. Too bad 99% of those cars were Civic's or 'tegs and the Accords were all on GC, Ksports...

GC sleeves are not bad at all. I don't know why they catch such a bad rap. Combine them with Koni yellow's and you have a set up that can pull street or track duties. If the extended top hats where available for the Accord/CL, I would have went with that over the Tein's.

dude GC's/Koni yellow's with custom rates is a sick setup. i never heard of them getting a bad rep.
im not trying to sound biased (bc i never even installed them yet) but you cant go wrong with the Function & Form Type-I's. i paid $500 shipped and they're still 24 way adjustable. you can go super low with those. but IF i decide to keep my car which i dont think is happening, i wouldnt go slam my car because of my new header. it hangs alot lower than your average header.

Low and Slow
That's good to hear. Do you have any idea how much tire it will tuck with the OEM wheel and tire set up? I'd just hate to install them, not be low enough and have to sell slightly used coilovers on craigslist for half price.

I haven't dropped them all the way because I wouldn't be able to get in and out of my apartment complex. They'll tuck a good amount of tire, but nothing crazy.

YtseJammer, you are the mother eff'n man.
I'll go ahead and keep these. I've found a few photo's of Accord's but they're never that low. So you think there might be another 1/4 inch left in them?

roads suck all over the country, so sorry so but thats just another excuse. its good to see that we're gonna be strict about the cars that get posted in here. i think the mods should delete all non-slammed cars from now on.
