Vibration
Alright guys, Give me all the advice you've got. I recently replaced my front axles on my 97-3.0. As soon as I hit the streets, my front passenger side wheel started to vibrate then eventually click, like the cv was bad. So I took the axle back off and returned it b/c it had no grease in the boots. Now, that may have seemed to solve the problem but about 15 miles after I put the axle in, the wheel started to vibrate once more. I got the wheel balanced and it isn't warped, I had it checked professionally. After balancing the wheel and checking its integrity we, tire kingdom and I, jacked the front of the car off the ground, put it in drive, and watched the wheel. The wheel had a more up and down movement then a wobble. Sooo...What do you guys think? I am stumped...oh yeah and everything has been tightened 3+ times over.

I found the problem:
Advance Auto Parts sold me either the wrong axle or another bad one. After an hour of me in my car on a lift, my mechanic friend and I finally found the problem... Deep Breath...The axle had play where it connects to the, I guess, the tranny, or the non-wheel end. The axle was too small for the female end and that is why it vibrated at low speed but at high speeds would center itself out and the vibration would go away. Like an idiot I am returning the axle to advance auto parts for a third axle. You know what they say about the third. Wish me luck and thanks for the advice.
