(I apologize to the mods, since I just realized this should be in the first gen section)

I am in urgent need of advice regarding the dealership cost of replacing broken motor mounts. My wife's 2.3cl has two broken motor mounts. The service guy says we have 5?

I searched and could not find any definitive quotes.

This is the list of things to do today for $925. I feel it's such a rip off.

- Replace two broken motor mounts
- Replace cat shield
- oil/filter change
- cabin filter change
- rotate tires

Any advice? How much should replacing just the two motor mounts cost? Parts + labor? What is a fair price to pay?

Just for the two broken motor mounts?

The dealership went down from $550 to $490 for the motor mount replacement.

- Replace two broken motor mounts - mounts are almost $200 a piece depending which ones needs to be replaced.
- Replace cat shield - should be only $20 at a muffler shop
- oil/filter change - $30 @ acura dealership
- cabin filter change -? isnt it a PITA for the CL to change this filter?
- rotate tires - $2 per tire at any garage.
