Transmission, solenoid or fuel injector problem?

I have a 98 2.3 acura cl auto. It has 188,000 miles and Ive only had a problem with the throttle position sensor. Its still bad but im working on it. First off its totally stock. I haven't driven it in a day and the temp was 21 degrees today. I warmed the car up for 15 minutes and took it for a spin. I started to notice that in 3rd gear my car slows down and bogs. I took my foot off the gas and pressed the gas lightly. It sputtered and straighten it self out. Now im back to normal. Me being worried i turned around and went home. When i got a block from my house i stopped at the stop sign and tried to accelerate hard. The car said no, lol and sputtered. I sputtered half way down the block until i took my foot off and applied lightly again. The car straighten up again and i made it home.

Has anyone had this problem?
Could it be the weather?
Solenoids maybe?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your TPS problem is getting worse.... any codes being thrown? Take it to a local Indy for an OBDII code read, and see what the car is telling you...

Ignition problems; plugs and wires can cause this symptom also.

good luck
