passenger window

hi everyone.
i have a 97 CL that im having some trouble with. my pass window keeps breaking the lift cables. i have replaced the lift track and motor 3 times now. the last time i even greased everything up pretty good to make sure the window was not binding. everything looked good and the window was going up and down. the a few days later it broke again. im really not sure what to do now, i know i will have to get another lift track and motor but i dont know how to prevent it from breaking it again. anyone have any idea of what it could be? its a 97 CL V6. i checked the tracks that the window rides up and down in and the look to be good.

The regulator (lift track and motor assy) breaks due to overload. Somehow the window is seriously binding in the track. Have you adjusted the window position relative to the regulator and window track? There is an adjustment procedure w/ window fully up in the shop manuals. I would suggest downloading a 94-97 Accord manual and using that procedure. Check hondahookup.com for a download manual.

good luck
