No Dash Lights, Tail lights or Parking lights
 

I hope someone can help me out?

I brought the car to the dealer and after $378.43 for parts and labor they can't fix my problem.

I had them installe a new light switch (driver side) and a lighting power relay (under hood), they changed every lighting fuse (under driver side). Pulled every exterior light out one by one and I still have no tail, dash or parking lights.


Is anyone here smarter than the Jackasses Acura Dealer Technicians?

There is a taillight relay that coincidentally enables front parking lights, tail lights, license plate lights, and dash lights. It is driven by fuse 2 a 15A fuse. Tail light relay is in the under hood fuse box. It should be located on the box lid.

Above is based on a 2.5TL manual. Yours should be similar, perhaps identical.

where is the rear light relay located? I see a 'lighting relay' next to 'dimmer relay' under hood fuse box, is this it?

I have this same issue. Just a my 3rd Acura and it’s a 2001 3.2 CL. It’s modded, but before I bought it from my brother (he got it from Louisiana), the tail lights and dash lights stopped working over the course of the last 3 years. I’ve read about this “Multiplex Control Unit” over the last two weeks. I’ve checked fuses under hood and I’m still not sure which maybe the proper fuse. However, all my 15a fuses are str8 as 180°….. where should I began.
