How to intall right headlight 97 cl
i have a 97 cl 3.0 premium.
I got in a minor accident and my right headlight was busted and bumper scuffed pretty bad. i bought a new headlight at a salvage yard for a decent price. I have the bumper cover off, but i I cant get the headlight to fit so i can install the light without breaking off one of the tabs. i dont want to break anything. But i cant get the light in, it wont fit.
The front bumper reinforcement is still in. Its the long plastic piece behind the bumper cover, that the bumper cover clips go into. I wonder if i have to remove this piece. Because if it were out of the way, i think i could get the light in.
please give me some help as to how i can get the replacement light in.
I searched repeatedly to find some info but could not find what i needed.
thanks

From what i see. you do have the reinforcement bar off. Is this required, is there any way around this. And are they hex bolts or something. Im not sure what tools i need. the bolts in the reinforcement are different than all other bolts?? look like hex, what size??? there are 2 on each side, looks like a round connection or something.

Got my car outside now with one headlight, same problem like above. Have a dent on right fender and i'm trying to replace the passanger headlight. Gonna have to tackle it tomorrow. Gonna remove the cover first, hopefully i can get to install the light with just the cover off.
