Gas Spill! Help!

Since the fuel guage in my CL is so inaccurate, i put a gas container with about 4 or 5 gallons of gas in my trunk. Some guy pulled up next to me at a red light and told me it smelled like i was leaking gas. So i pulled over and opened my trunk to find gas spilling out of the container. Now my trunk is soaked in about 3 gallons of gas.

How can i get rid of the gas and odor?! I dont know if I can just hose it down because of the wood type stuff underneath the liner. Or can I take that off? Either way, the wood stuff is pretty soaked, too. Any advice?

The worst part is, I lost 3 gallons of gas that could have gone in my tank
