drastic change in mpg?

drastic change in mpg?
Help!
I typically get about 350 miles on a 13-gallon tank....but since the last time that I've filled up which was no more than a couple of days ago, I'm already at half a tank and I've only driven about 100 miles....which means my mpg is almost cut in half.
Has anyone had this happen to them? Or do any mechanics out there have any ideas of what it could be?
Recently I had some problems with my engine overheating, but that was resolved when we flushed my radiator and refilled all the fluids. Could it be possible something wasn't hooked back up correctly, and possibly there is a hose that is leaking fluid?
I don't smell any gas in or around my car, either.
Please help! I'm a college student and poor and I cant afford a diagnostic!
