CD player Doesn't Work: P-EO
My CD player stopped working about a month after I bought the car. Worked fine right when I got it, then started to cut out while playing CD's. Now it trys to read the disk and says "P-EO" on the screen, which I assume means "Play Error" or something like that.
Do you think this means the deck is no good, or am I able to have it repaired? I wanted to keep the stock one since I've always liked the look of an OEM interior, but if it is shot, I might just drop some money on a flip up CD/DVD player.

Actually I just searched the internet and found that the P-EO code means the laser is going bad. A possible cause is playng CD-R's which might be bad for the laser in older cars like the CL. (I do play a lot of burned CD's). Typically it costs around $200 - $250 to have it repaired.
I guess it a common problem for 1st Gen CL's specifically with the Bose system.
Looks like I might just spend the cash on a CD/DVD player. f0k!
