Car shakes when downshift from 2nd to 1st
I have a 98 CL 3.0 152000+ with original Auto transmission
My car shakes when downshifting from 2nd to 1st if I foot off the gas fast sometime
and acceleration is slow in the first two gear while I am using D4
With D3, there is no shaking and acceleration is great
I have changed the spare plug and transmission fluid
Also, the gas mileage is bad; I got only 15 per gallon
Any suggestion?

Tranny mounts. At that speed you have a lot of kinetic energy moving forward and along with the weight or mass of the tranny the mounts have a tendancy to flex.
Change em out.

D3 is great,
With D4, the car is not smooth while the gear is changing, especially gear down at the speed 36-39 miles/hrs
Except the tranny mount, anything wrong with my tranny?
