Can someone tell me how big of a job to change the expansion valve?

Can someone tell me how big of a job to change the expansion valve?
I am wondering how long it will take to change a expansion valve on a 3.0. The shop told me $400 to change it. That sounds a little too high. Anyways I have been looking on the net trying to find a diagram or something to show exactly where its located. I am not having much luck. Does the 3.0 have the same ac system as the 98 v6 accord? There is all kinds of stuff about accords on there. Well I would really appreciate any help. Thanks.

If evaporator arrangement on Acura CL V6 is same as arrangement on Acura 3.2TL, then it is a significant effort requiring removal of lower dash and several components to access. Sorry, I don't have a 3L V6 Accord manual.
I checked autozone manual for this model and it doesn't cover ac component removal.
