98 CL brake light switch
Today my 98 Cl automatic would not move out of park. The shifter would only stay in park. I found some info on the net saying that this is most likely caused by my brake light switch. I checked my brake lights and they are all out. Therefore it is likely the brake light switch. My question is, which one is the brake light switch? I looked under the steering column down by the brake pedal and there are two switches. One is on top of the brake pedal and the other is on the bottom connected to the firewall. I'm fairly certain the top one is the brake light switch but does anybody know for sure? If anyone has had this problem please help me out! Is this switch easy to replace?

blah blah blah
I had this problem and the switch that AZNX TL is showing is the right switch. Its the one on the steering wheel column. To switch it out you'll have to pull off that panel under the steering wheel and remove the metal brace. Its pretty easy to install it.

Thanks everybody! The brake light switch was bad so I put a new one in it. Now I can shift normally out of park again. It only took about 30 minutes to replace. Thanks.
