Recently I been hearing a loud clicking noise every time I put my car in park and when that happens it feels like the whole engine jerks. Has this happen to anyone? of do they have any idea what can be the problem or what causes the noise and the jerking?

 

Some noise is common when changing from gear to gear/park with the selector. You could have a bad engine mount or even a tranny mount. Just a suggestion. Let us know if you find out!

mine does the same, ive determined it is how how tranny shifts. i know in g.m's the firmer the tranny functions the less likely problems will occur. i hope it is the same for yak's .. p.s. ive found done trannys for the 3.0 but they are $4000,. lol.

 

$1800 at ammco w/3 year 36k mile warranty is what I plan to do when the time comes.

 

sounds like a mount to me, good way to check: have a buddy or you stay in the car and hold the ebrake up, while shifting thru gears, and one of you keep a good eye on the engine see where most play is coming from. front motor mounts always go on these; actually just replaced mine, real cheap. pretty straightforward installation. if theres no play, check your fluid level.
