98 Accord tranny in 98 Cl
Will a 98 Accord 2.3L transmission fit in a 98 Acura 2.3 CL the model numbers are different BAXA for the Accord and B6VA for the Acura. Need some help here.

Apparently they are different. I have used car-part.com used parts search to find parts that are interchangeable in the past and it will always show both Honda and Acura parts that are interchangeable. It did not list Acura CL trans available for Accord or vice versa. Not definitive, but pretty likely incompatible.

nope i thought the same as u did ut instead of asking i just went ahead n bought a accord tranny n tried but no no no... didnt work i have to sell it n get mine rebuilt becuase i was slippin and hittin to hard

If you try the ABS modulator, you find that Accords, CL's, Integras all share the same modulator. So I'm pretty sure the 97 Acura CL auto trans is unique in some respect.
